Riot Act, Inc.is back hosting The 49er Ball as a live event and celebrating our 21th Anniversary. This Jackson tradition will take place Sat. Oct. 28 at the newly remodeled Virginian Lodge Ballroom at 6:00pm
The year of 1849: Where the golden streets in the Land of Dreams were spotted out West. Hundreds of thousands of society’s eccentrics and outcastes clamored for their stakes, creating a colorful world of stories, characters, sin, and parties.
The ‘49er Ball is back! A Jackson Hole staple since 1896, live out the past in costume, find an excuse to dance like it’s 1849, and gamble away the suspenders off your back. Theatre company Riot Act, Inc. hosts the 2022 ‘49er ball Saturday, October 28 at The newly remodeled Virginian Lodge Ballroom. This year’s theme is Halloween! Be sure to dress in your Halloween best with a 49er twist: ghost with a cowboy hat, zombie saloon girl, or headless cowboy. Activities include a live band (The Bush Pilots) , silent auction, gambling for donations, a cash bar, all the vitals you can eat, costume contest, and more!
Tickets are $50 by October 15, $75 by Oct. 24, or $100 day of the Ball. Your ticket includes live entertainment, buffet dinner, 1 drink ticket, and 1 gambling chip.
